ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 1090 Certification
We are delighted to have successfully achieved both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 1090 Quality Management System accreditations in 2022, these are internationally recognised standards and ISO 9001:2015 is the world’s most widely adopted Quality Management System (QMS). The certification demonstrates our ability to consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. The certification is based on several quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and involvement of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
The company started trading in early 2018, and following the first successful year, it became a goal to achieve the internationally recognised Quality Management systems. The standard requires a rigorous audit programme be in place with two different types of review and assessment being used to ensure our Quality Management System is effective. We undergo a continual programme of internal audits and in addition, annually we will be subject to audits from our preferred assessment body ISOQAR.
Both internal and external audits are ongoing programmes with continual checks to ensure we are complying to the standard and to identify areas we can develop and improve on. This process offers our customers peace of mind that we are adhering to international best practice, and we can be viewed as a trusted partner. It also offers potential customers a relatively simple means to evaluate our service.
Since July 2014, and UKCA marking from January 1st 2022, structural steelwork falls under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), which means structural steel CE/UKCA marking must be secured to show compliance with EN 1090-1 (the harmonised European standard that applies to structural metalwork), Whether in the form of steel frames or metal roofing, any structural engineers, component manufacturers, and anyone with a hand in the steel or aluminium based components that go into metal buildings & building work, should be working to this standard.

Service & Typical Works
What do we do to make us stand out from other contractors, why should you choose RES for your site projects, repairs or upgrades?
The management team has over 30 years’ experience working in this area, and for a varied number of environments for a wide range of products and businesses, we understand that when work needs to be carried out, it should have the minimum amount of impact on the site and the least amount of disruption to ongoing production, and to the staff & others engaged on site.
We ensure that detailed site surveys are carried out, to make sure that the installation will integrate with the existing systems, if we are carrying out repairs that these are completed promptly, we recognise that our clients do not want staff continuously returning to site, when the issue could have been resolved initially by understanding what was required in the first place
Initial site set up is paramount to make sure the project runs without issues, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail, this includes stringent H&S measures, site specific documentation and reporting. All staff are highly trained and competent as you would expect, but versatile, and able to quickly adapt to site requirements or changes and engaging with the client and site contacts to understand what is really needed and how we can best deliver this.
Working to all applicable British standards, we have ongoing service agreements with structural engineers, designers, and specialist H&S support to help deliver a high-quality service, with minimal disruption.
We will maximise the use of our workshop to fabricate as much as possible off site, again minimising impact of the site, and take responsibility for delivery to site to include the lifting & positioning if required.
The site team will be led by an SMSTS trained manager and all supervisors are SSSTS trained, all staff understand and comply with specific site requirements, to include stringent hygiene measures, this being even more important due to Covid.
Site management will see the project through from start to finish, offering assistance as necessary, to improve the effectiveness of the system, carrying out full testing & commissioning and issuing all documentation at the end of a project that is specified. We only use trusted contractors if needed for scaffolding or lifting.
