Robey Engineering solutions are proud to have been involved in this project, Work commenced in November 2021 and all works were completed by March 2022, the project was approximately £360,000.

Our client is a worldwide organisation, and their US division won a project to provide a new distillery, this was a pilot project and would hopefully lead to several similar projects.

​

The pipework and vessel fabrication was put out for tender, and we were the successful contractor, we were issued with a full brief and functional model to which we fabricated the pipework and vessel in our dedicated workshop, towards the end of this work we were asked to provide our skilled staff to go to site, in Columbia, South Carolina to install the completed items within the recently completed dedicated building.

We fabricated 60% of the project in the workshop, the remaining was site installation, which required several containers to be shipped containing all plant tools & equipment. Our staff then flew, under ESTA visas to the US, and were on site a number of weeks, during which extra works were identified and completed.

 

Pumps & instrumentation were supplied by the client, the specification was interpreted and manufactured by the project team and all works were in line with the detailed proposal.

The building was specifically built for the brewery. Our staff have returned again to carry out final works and some additional work plus all testing and commissioning and issue a full documentation pack.
