New Pasteuriser and Incubation
Tank Project
Robey Engineering Solutions (RES) successfully delivered labour, plant, and equipment for the Pasteuriser 3 and Incubation Project, a 12-month contract completed on time and within budget. Throughout the project, RES maintained an average team of six skilled tradespeople, supported by approved subcontractors.
Site Establishment & Set-Up
RES managed the full site establishment for the duration of the project, which included:
-
2 secure storage containers
-
1 fully equipped site office/mess room
-
1 on-site workshop facility
This setup provided a safe, efficient base of operations for the project’s delivery.
Equipment Offloading & Installation
RES coordinated the offloading and installation of incubation tanks, pasteuriser units, and associated equipment.
-
A crane and small plant machinery were used to manage the complex lift and placement operations.
-
Tight working areas and challenging schedules were overcome through close collaboration with contract lift suppliers.
Process Pipework Fabrication & Installation
Our team fabricated and installed process pipework connecting to all associated equipment.
-
Orbital welding techniques were used to ensure compliance with strict site standards and specifications.
-
Most pipework was routed through roof voids, dropping down to connect equipment precisely where required.
-
Careful scheduling of system break-ins ensured production continued safely without interruption, coordinated closely with the client’s team.
High-Level Access Platform
RES also designed, manufactured, and installed a new incubation access platform to Execution Class II (ISO 1090).
-
The platform was installed within a live production area with minimal disruption.
-
Due to limited footprint and restricted access, a contract lift was used to complete the installation safely and efficiently.
